[magick-users] I would like to know the cause a PNG file can't convert

Hello,
 
I can't convert a PNG file and can't get response by the following command.

COMMAND is "convert -equalize -monochrome BAR_NG.png BAR_NG.png"
Note; ImageMagick version is 5.5.6-18 and OS is RedHat AS3 or Fedora Core
release 3.
 
But now I know which version can convert the PNG file.
ImageMagick-5.5.7.10-0.1 is OK
ImageMagick-5.5.6.28     is NG
 
And I checked "STRACE" log when I tested with ImageMagick-5.5.6.28, it
seemed that the process looping occurred.
 
So, I would like to know the cause of this phenomenon or which bug fix of
Changelog matches this problem.
 
I attached "BAR_NG.png" and strace.log.
