[magick-users] convert to cmyk and verify.

I created a plain black square in Gimp and saved it as a tiff file.
It will be in RGB color model of course. 
Then I ran:
convert blacktest.tiff --colorspace cmyk blacktest2.tiff

Two questions:
1. Will the converted file be pure black or rich black?

2. How do I verify that the square is indeed in cmyk color model?
