[magick-users] Problems with montage

I have six 300x100 banners which I want to
montage in a three times two pattern without
size reduction, like this

  ___   ___
|___| |___|
  ___   ___
|___| |___|
  ___   ___
|___| |___|

montage insists of arranging them two times three
with size reduction

  ___   ___   ___
|___| |___| |___|
  ___   ___   ___
|___| |___| |___|

What can I do to get it the way I want?
