[magick-users] convert to cmyk?

I took an RGB image and ran this command:
convert wheel2.png -colorspace cmyk wheel2magick.png

However when I examine the wheel2imagemagick.png file the OS 
says it is in RGBA and Scribus agrees.  When I do another 
conversion:

convert wheel2.png -colorspace cmyk wheel2magick.tiff

the OS says it is in separations.  Scribus still thinks it 
is in RGB.

 The OS is LInux Slackware 12.2
