I believe thats a problem with your mail program. 
I use Sylpheed-Claws mail, and
it has 2 reply mode buttons.... "Reply" and "All".

If I just hit Reply, it replies to the list only.
If I select "All", it puts the list and original poster in the "To:" boxes.

Maybe you should look at your mail program options, and preferences.
You may have a preference set to "reply to all", or something similar.
