We (the ImageMagick developers) have built ImageMagick with Visual Studio
2003, 2005, and 2008.  For 2005 and 2008 we build both 32 and 64-bit versions
without complaint.  We generally enable MAGICKCORE_INSTALLED SUPPORT.  We
will try without defining this option and see if we can reproduce the problem
you are having.
