[magick-users] Storing EXIF information in uncompressed files

Hello everybody,

I am using PTlens for the correction of barrel distortion, mostly as a 
first step in an image rectification with ImageMagick. A shortcoming of 
this approach is that PTlens stores the corrected intermediate image in 
(lossy) JPEG format, unless it is provided as a TIFF. It however needs 
the EXIF information embedded in the original photograph in order to do 
the correction.

Is there any way to transfer EXIF information into a TIFF file with IM? 
Tom Niemann, the author of PTlens, says that Photoshop saves this 
information in its (proprietary) XMP data.
