Hello,

I am not sure what this has to do with BMP?

Are you using a color or grayscale image?

If color, then you would do the following:


convert input.jpg -colorspace Gray -threshold xx% -depth 1 output.jpg

where xx is some value between 0 and 100 that controls the amount of 
white and black to see in the image.
