No, sorry. All that tells you is what possible image formats IM 
supports in your release version. It does not say that you have PNG 
installed. Your release is way too old. So I am not sure what is 
needed or at what state IM was in development at that point towards 
supporting PNG or what you need do.

Hopefully, Magick or Anthony will respond. Also post to the User's

What does

convert -list list

reply? It will list all the list options. Perhaps convert -list 
configure was something else in that old release.

Can you not upgrade?  That would really be best.
