[magick-users] Newbie -- Convert SVG to JPG or PNG

Hi everyone,

I need to convert an svg image to jpg or png.
I tried using "convert svg:tree.xml tree.png" on the command line and  
get the following error message:

ERROR: meta.c (179): wmf_header_read: this isn't a wmf file
convert: Delegate failed `"wmf2svg" -o "%o" "%i"'.

Does IM think I am trying to convert a wmf file?

I heard that SVG support is not complete yet. I am using the binary  
release for Mac OS X (10.4.10).
Could my OS be an issue?
