OK, I tried this:

>You can write PDF simply by using a filename with a PDF extension or
>explicitly like this:
>
>   MagickWriteImage(wand,"image.pdf");

The resulting files seemed fine on my computer. So I sent a couple
to my client, and this is his reply:

>I sent the file on to the art room and she didn't have any luck with it.
>Their normal procedure is to just double click the file, it opens in
>acrobat, they print it to make the plate and that is it. This wouldn't
>open so she tried to open in Photoshop - it crashes the program. Then she
>tried to open in illustrator and the document size is huge. The artwork
>isn't that big, just the document so it won't let her print.

Is there something about Image Magick PDF files that isn't quite up
to the official Adobe standards? Any fixes?

Thanks for your help --
