[magick-users] Looking for a good readable free font

I use arial.ttf to write the text at the
bottom of this picture: http://pinguin.uni.cc/temp/051024010_weitsee.jpg

Unfortunately Reit im Winkl, looks like Relt lm Winkl. I mean you can't see 
space beween the point and the line of the i. I double-checked and this is 
not a type error. The text is the same as used in the meta-data.

Do you have a recommendation for a free font? I use Linux, especially Opensuse 
10.2 and Debian Etch.
