[magick-users] Imagemagick not working

I'm running Fedora Core Release 5 and Imagemagick
programs don't work. For example, when I use the
display program like this:

display keyboard.jpg

or this:

display -identify keyboard.jpg

I see this:

Version: ImageMagick 6.3.2 03/03/07 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org
Copyright: Copyright (C) 1999-2007 ImageMagick Studio LLC

followed by the long Usage message. Yet the same programs
work fine on another Linux system. Are there quick
troubleshooting tips or suggestions before I start looking
at a strace?
