[magick-users] Negated TIFF's

I'm processing TIFF's from Hylafax through ImageMagick

 

emrfax2:/Archive/Live/bin # convert --version

Version: ImageMagick 6.3.3 03/23/07 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org

Copyright: Copyright (C) 1999-2007 ImageMagick Studio LLC

 

However, the TIFF"s that are coming out the other side are negated (black is
white and white is black).

If I run "convert fax.tiff +adjoin page.tiff" I get two pages, as I'd
expect:

Does anyone know why this is happening, and what I can do to prevent it?

 

I also apologize if this has already been covered. I googled it, but
everything I saw seemed to indicate that there was a problem like this in
the 6.2 code-line, but that it was fixed.
