[magick-users] os x installation issues

Ok, so I'm having trouble installing this software package. I'm
running OS 10.4.8, on a solid machine. I downloaded the
ImageMagickpowerpc 8.8.0.tar file and went through thte installation
process. It places the file on the desktop initially, and when running
commands it gives the error message:
 exit
dyld: Library not loaded: /ImageMagick-6.3.2/lib/libMagick.10.dylib
 Referenced from: /Users/jmlubin/ImageMagick-6.3.2/bin/conjure
 Reason: image not found

 if I put ImageMagick at the root directory, the error becomes:
convert: UnableToOpenConfigureFile `delegates.xml'.
convert: NoDecodeDelegateForThisImageFormat
`/Users/jmlubin/Documents/Topics/CropCircles/CropCircleImages/5star.jpg'.
convert: MissingAnImageFilename `file.gif'.

so I  can't even do a simple image conversion - something is probably
wrong with the delgates.xml file. Can anyone help?
