[magick-users] Problem with fonts on Linux

Hi,

I am trying to put a text on an image like this:
convert -fill black -draw "text 10, 10 '`date`'" test1.jpg test2.jpg

I got a message:
convert: FreeType library is not available `(null)'.

My output image looks like an original.
Is there something I should do to make it work? I got ms fonts installed,
can I make them work?
My system is Debian Woody.
