| We're trying to overlay PNG files to compile a montage. We would like to use
| the DROPDSHADOW, but it always renders with a WHITE background instead of
| shadowing over our chosen background. Has anyone had any experience on
| overlaying images and successfully creating a drop shadow?
|
| We're using a clear PNG image to lay the Photos down on and them merging
| that on top of a background the customer's use. If anyone has a formula or
| idea on how we should compile, it appreciated.

See IM Examples, Montage, for how to make use of montage for specific
backgrounds.

However if you are not actually using the "montage" command to create a
montage (which may be the case judging from the examples), then
exactly what you are doing may be needed.
