Hello,

I have ImageMagick on my MacOSX development machine and I have it  
also installed on a linux server
When I run identify to get the resolution on the same picture on the  
two machines it gives me different results.


mac:

The picture files are identical. I copied the file via scp from mac  
to linux. They have the same size in bytes on both machines. When I  
copy it back from linux to mac and run identify again, I get 300 dpi  
again. Photoshop on the mac shows my 300dpi for the picture as well.


anyone know why this results in different resolution values?
