[magick-users] pdf to png and size problem

Hi all,
Being just an occasional imagemagick user, this is my first post here.

I have some trouble with a file which is smaller than an a4 page and
convert creates a png file with my pdf in the left-low corner but on an a4
page. Of course I don't want this, I want just my image without anything else.

The original is a pdf version 1.5 file, and convert did nothing until I
updated ghostscript to ghostscript-gpl-8.54; imagemagick is 6.3.4 and my
system:
~ $ uname -or
2.6.17-gentoo GNU/Linux

The output of pdfinfo for this file:
