Thanks for your answer, but it doesn't. I even get the same error on another 
client-machine and an Intel cpu instead of an AMD,. so there might be a 
problem on the nfs-server. I tried already a lot, e.g. copied the jpg-files 
in a new created directory. The script runs fine, I change the name, then 
there is the problem, I rename to the directory name again, which worked, run 
the script and have the problems again.

I don't know if the IM errors are a consequence of "Stale NFS file handle". 
The crazy thing is, I have hundreds of similar albums and no problems, it is 
also a problem with 1 user (till now). Maybe it is a filesystem-problem and I 
should format the partition.
