[magick-users] Noob setup question

I just installed imagemagick on my server, and now i am trying to figure out
how to use it.  I know i have to run it from the command line, but how
exactly do i do this?  I have SSH and i changed the directory to the
imagemagick parent folder.  I then tried running a few commands, but  to no
avail.  Any detailed help on what exactly i need to do to get going is
greatly appreciated.
