[magick-developers] How to force 8bit depth for each Channel

Hi,

I am working with CMYK and I want to process them with IM.
I want to force 8bit depth for each color channel - whatever
number of colors can be fund in the channel.

Actually the depth depends on the number of the colors, what IM uses  
while saving the image.

I have tried it with Q8 Version on Mac OS X and Windows.
