[magick-developers] cross-compile ImageMagick for ARM: receive libMagickCore.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format

Hi

I'm trying to cross-compile ImageMagick for my armv5 board.

Here is uname -a of :
HOST
Linux 2.6.9-11.ELsmp  i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

TARGET
Linux 2.6.9-intc1 armv5tel unknown

And my configure command.
CC=arm-linux-gcc ./configure --prefix=/home/embedded/local --target=armv5 --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu --without-perl --without-zlib

When I try to compile, I get the following error:
magick/.libs/libMagickCore.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format

My cross-compile toolchain is here: 
/home/embedded/local/arm-linux/bin

Anyone have any trouble installing ImageMagick for armv5?
