[magick-developers] Image Magick - Resize to a smaller size results in diminished resolution

Hi,

I used SCALE command to reduce the size of images ranging from 14 kb to 90 kb to 128x150. But, the images are of different size and interestingly, larger images are smaller.
So, I have sizes varying from 128x150 to 121x? or 122x?

Also, the resolution seems to be bad. What can I do to improve the resolution. In one case, the photo is speckled(I can see small squares prominent).
