There are hundreds (if not thousands) of for-profit web sites that use
ImageMagick to help prepare the site. ImageMagick is also used by
many in the publishing industry to help support aspects of newspaper,
photo, and yearbook production. There is some evidence that
ImageMagick has contributed in some way to help make movies since we
have received posts from people at DreamWorks on the list. ESPN is
using ImageMagick to make high-resolution maps of lakes available on
their web-site. NOAA uses ImageMagick to help make weather maps
available on their site, and Woods Hole Oceanography uses it to make
ocean temperature pattern maps available on their site. There are a
number of software products that incorporate ImageMagick code.

People use it for whatever they can imagine.

You can learn a lot about what ImageMagick is used for by following
the URLs from people who post to the ImageMagick mailing lists.
