Why?

> It should be very useful to change the output into these labels:
> - Depth -> BitsPerSample
> - Channel depth -> SamplesPerPixel

Our concern is that any change will break existing scripts and the change
does not have merit.  Image depth and bits per sample can be interchanged, the
same for channel depth and samples per pixel.
