[Magick-bugs] Row of garbage in gradients (v. 6.3.3)

Hello,

I'm not sure if this bug has been reported or not, as I was not able to find a mailing list archive with search capabilities. But anyhow, I beleive I have identified a problem with ImageMagick 6.3.3 on Linux. When I generate a gradient I always end up with noise in the last row of the image. This behavior does not occur on another machine that has ImageMagick 6.2.9 on it.

Here is the command line that reproduces the problem:

    convert -size 512x50 gradient:white-black gradient.png

Attached to this email is the resulting file.

Here is the output of "convert --version":

Version: ImageMagick 6.3.3 04/11/07 Q16

Anyhow, this is not critical for me, but I would be curious to know whether anyone can reproduce this problem.

Thank you,

Marcio Teixeira
