[Magick-bugs] problem with display -update

Hi list,
I'm currently generating a lot of pictures, combining in every possible
fashion images coming from a series of about 250 and images coming from
another series of 100.
All generated images go thru a file named T2.
To monitor that process, I use "display -update 1 t2"
ImageMagick doesn't leak memory, but the X server's virtual image keeps
on growing.
When it fills up the 1 GO swap I configured, the machine eventually
hangs.
Developers, any clue about that?
(the generation process doesn't create problems, it doesn't use the X
server)
