We try converting a TIFF to Postscript with ImageMagick 6.3.2 and 5.5.7 and
6.3.2 was slightly faster.  We know color reduction is slower in recent versions
because it accounts for the opacity channel.  Might be best to post a URL to
your image so we can reproduce the problem.
