[Magick-bugs] Problem with TIFF files on Mac

Hello,

 

I am using ImageMagick version 6.3.2 on both Mac 10.4.7 and Windows XP.

 

I am experiencing problem when trying to identify a TIFF file on Mac
machine. And, any identify command to recognize the TIFF file returns
the following error:

 

identify: Not a TIFF file, bad version number 10752 (0x2a00)

 

Where as same set of file are recognized by ImageMagick on windows.
These TIFF files are output of digital camera.

 

I have verified the TIFF library support is included in distribution I
am having, using command

identify -list format

it returns

TIFF*  TIFF  rw+   Tagged Image File Format (LIBTIFF, Version 3.7.4)

 

I am able to convert other formats to tiff on mac machine and then
identify recognizes those files properly. But it is not able to
recognize the files I am having. Mac finder is able to view all these
TIFF files properly.

Any help will be appreaciated.
