New (much faster) FFT algorithm

Post by Mik »

Hi IM people

the news from MIT researchers (see link below) got me wondering if a new improved FFT algorithm will be incorporated into your very excellent suite? Is it even appropriate for image processing?

IM relies upon the FFTW delegate library. It would have to included there before it could be considered for IM use.
