MagickAppendImages?

Wondering if anyone knows how to use MagickAppendImages...
Haven't had any luck with this so far.
I tried to read in an array of filenames with MagickReadImages, then use MagickAppendImages, but it only outputs the last image in the array that I read in.
Any help much appreciated,
