PSD Layer Names

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

ImageMagick sets the layer metadata as image attributes. In addition to width, height, colorspace, etc., we set layer-xpos, layer-ypos, layer-opacity, layer-name if available. What specific attribute are you looking for. Post a URL to one of your images so we can take a closer look.

The layer names are saved but they are hidden. In the next point release we will make sure these attributes are available with the identify -verbose command as well as the identify -format command.
