Captcha solving help

Post by nsalva »

Hi!

I'm very new to this, I've been trying to solve a captcha with convert + tesseract but it seems I'm not cleaning the images well enough.

Since I do this in my spare time which isn't a lot, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction and tell me which convert commands I should try.

So far, I get my best results by doing the following:
convert x.png -colorspace gray x.png
convert x.png -colorspace gray -threshold 40% x.png

Thank you in advance!!!

I suggest that this activity may be unethical. Attempting to subvert the CAPTCHA protection shows a lack of respect for the owner of the server, whether they are doing it to protect their bandwidth or their business
