Re: Multicrop with CMYK tiff

You can convert to RGB, process, then convert back to CMYK. Perhaps you can do your processing in CMYK with -connected-components, which is what I use in my script. All you need to do is convert your image to binary where the images are white and the background is black. Then process that image with...

Re: Reduce canvas size non-destructively

Your input in you command is a PNG. It does not have layer information. Did you mean PSD?

ImageMagick is limited in what it can do with PSD files.

Re: Batch resizing of canvas centering the images

The *.png should only be at the end. That is where the input goes. To direct this to some other locations so that it does not overwrite your files, create a new empty directory and use the -path argument to specify its location. The folder has to exists already before mogrify will place it there wit...

Re: Batch resizing of canvas centering the images

If you are trying to process many images, then use mogrify to process all images in a folder. If on IM 7, then it would be magick mogrify.

Re: Reduce canvas size non-destructively

Your question is not clear. I do not understand exactly what you want. Post the original image without the guide lines that has layer information. Then show the result you want. Is the layer information the virtual canvas information that you need?

Re: Batch resizing of canvas centering the images

How did you do the install? It should be installed already on Linux. You just need to find it.

Re: Adding border only around filled area

You can use -connected-components to find each individual gray region in the image and get its centroid and then do a flood fill. You can identify the oval since it has the largest area of gray. I suggest thresholding first, then find the oval centroid. Then go back to the original and do your flood...

Re: Silver Efex Effect with Imagemagick?

You can adjust the arguments for -w and -g in my space script to get different effect strengths.

Your links are not going to any images that make sense for what you are describing.

Re: Silver Efex Effect with Imagemagick?

Here is one emulation of local contrast using my space (spatially adaptive contrast enhancement) script. It runs only on Unix-like systems. Input: http://www.fmwconcepts.com/misc_tests/silver_efex/river_boat.png Simple grayscale conversion: convert river_boat.png -colorspace gray river_boat_gray.png...

Re: Silver Efex Effect with Imagemagick?

Please post example input and corresponding desired output images. What is your ImageMagick version and platform? The software you reference has a lot of controls to make different effects. What effect do you actually want? Please be more specific.

Re: Silver Efex Effect with Imagemagick?

It is called -colorspace gray when used with a color image. convert image -colorspace gray result or convert image -grayscale option result See https://imagemagick.org/script/command-line-options.php#intensity for choice of option Or if on a Unix-like system, try my script, color2gray, at my link be...

Re: Converting SVG to Image ignores text

It runs fine for me with IM 7.0.8.66 Q16 Mac OSX. Not sure if the fonts match perfectly, but I do see the text.

Code: Select all

magick -verbose MSVG:test2.svg result.png

Run my command in PHP exec() with -verbose in your command and let us know what error message you get.

What is your ImageMagick version and platform? What are your example input images? Are they opaque or transparent backgrounds?
