Re: looping a composite creation help

You're right about 'black' not being entirely black. the -transparent black gave some odd results so I'll use this magick %dirA%!listA[%%N]! %dirB%!listB[%%N]! -define compose:args=50 -compose blend -composite %dirOut%!listA[%%N]! until I switch to png, and experiment with how that works. Thanks aga...

Re: looping a composite creation help

Ok, I can change the jpg, to png as they are decoded from the satellite. I'll leave it as is for now. I got this portion to work magick %dirA%!listA[%%N]! %dirB%!listB[%%N]! -define compose:args=50 -compose blend -composite %dirOut%!listA[%%N]! but if I replace it with this code magick %dirA%!listA[...

Re: looping a composite creation help

Ok, that worked, thank you so MUCH! I had an issue at first because I did not realize the exit command was in there if the image count was different. As I ran the full script, my satellite receiver downloaded a new full-color image so the count was off by 1 (173 in F:\composite15\ vs. 174 in F:\comp...

Re: looping a composite creation help

Alphabetically should work, as the timestamps that are in the file names do sort out alphabetically.

I run the batch file from F:\MAGICK SCRIPTS\ the input directories are F:\composite15 and F:\compositeFC. the final composite should be F:\COMPOSITEFINAL Based on the image shown above: OVERLAY ...

looping a composite creation help

Hello, I am using ImageMagick-7.0.9-Q16 on Windows 10 to do some animation, resizing, etc. to satellite imagery of the earth. One item on my list, I cannot figure out. I am trying to composite a series 2 satellite images together. But I have about 100 images in each directory. This will work from a ...

Final Satellite imagery using ImageMagick

Just wanted to share the final product after using ImageMagick to resize, compress, watermark, time annotate, create and animates gif, and then FFmpeg to interpolate the gif frames into a .mp4 GOES -16 Satellite 348 separate frames, from April 5 to April 11, 2020. This one took a while to process, 1...

Tiling 4 different animations

I am trying to tile for different animations onto one 2x2 tile, so that each animation appears in a separate box. I am using this command cd F:/TILED/ magick montage FC.mp4 08.mp4 09.mp4 14.mp4 -tile 2x2 TILEDout.gif Which renders this: http://dodgem37.com/GOES16DATA/TILEDout.gif But what I want is ...

Re: Help cropping a series of images in a series of subfolders

I would Like to be able to change the colored section to read all subdirectories in F:\Satellite Imagery\goes16\fd\NOMAP\ (all subdirectories) without having to type the folder path in like 2020-03-28, 2020-03-30, 2020-03-31, etc. REM 3/31/2020 magick mogrify -path ../CONUS -format jpg -crop 2753x17...

Re: Help cropping a series of images in a series of subfolders

This is what I have so far, I works, and I need to streamline it BUT, I still cannot get the part REM'd out to put the watermark in unless I do it in the directory ../Watermarked and run it from command line. REM 3/31/2020 magick mogrify -path ../CONUS -format jpg -crop 2753x1769+510+269 "F:\Satelli...

Re: Convert a working CMD line to a windows BAT file

yes, I am running it in a directory called F:/Satellite Imagery/cropped/ it works from command line, but I can't get it to run in bat file First I crop the image with this bat file: magick mogrify -path ./cropped -format jpg -crop 2753x1769+510+269 "F:\Satellite Imagery\goes16\fd\NOMAP\2020-03-27\GO...
