I tested a few more (direct) Ghostscript-conversions to raster formats: '-sDEVICE={tiff24nc,png16m,jpeg}' . All these didn't produce the artifact. It's only the 'pngalpha' -device which has the problem. I've come from the future to thank you. Thanks! I'm a noob with Ghostscript and had no clue why ...
